What.. I painted my front door

and totally forgot to show you.
My bad.

If you had forgotten back in mid October I asked for some color suggestions
in regards to my front door..
I called the post series...
Shut the front door.. or at least help paint it!

I gave you a list of colors I was debating.. you commented
I listened..
then at the the end of October I narrowed it down to 2 colors based on your suggestions.
The votes we cast, tallied and a winner was born...


You chose French Pale Gold by Behr...

I actually painted the door shortly after the winner was announced but never blogged about it!
I finally took a few pictures and wanted to share the results with you.

 



 

When it warms up again.. I am going to add one more coat.. I also need to finish the back door still!
If you are wondering how much paint it took to do the two full coats ...
all I used was a BEHR Ultra 8 oz. French PaleInterior/Exterior Paint Tester
The best part is that only cost under $3.00!

I love it, it's not drastic, I did not paint the shutter or the screen door
but it's enough to make me happy every time I get home!

    Great color choice! Did you painted just the outside?! I want to paint my door but idk what color!
