I originally posted this recipe here...
but am updating the post now..(new/and old pictures and a slight variation on the recipe)
If you are like me you crave baked goods!
I mean really crave baked goods!
I need chocolate like most people need air.
If I don't have candy bars, Hershey kisses, cookies or brownies
I resort to my usual staples
chocolate chips or Hershey syrup.
No more wondering where the spare tire and muffin top came from!
Every now and then I try and make a recipe
that is healthy so when I eat 3-4 x the serving size
I only feel a little guilty.
One of my favorite recipes
is one I found on a weight watchers message board
no i have never done weight watchers
but i do try to get my occasional freebie recipe off their site!
ha take that!
Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients:
1 Cake mix (chocolate, vanilla or spice) (use just dry mix, DO NOT prepare mix as directed on box)
1 15 oz can pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie)
2 C chocolate chips (or whole bag if you are like me)
1 TBS pumpkin spice
Preheat oven to 375*
grease muffin pan
Mix ingredients together
fill muffin pan 2/3 full
Bake 15-20 minutes, until tooth pick comes out clean
WAH-LA!
I forgot the spice in this one so just added it to the tops before they baked
no one seemed to notice!

if that matters to you!
enjoy..

Hey, Chrissy! I make these muffins all the time, but have never put the pumpkin spice in them. So, if you ever forget, don't worry! They turn out great without the spice, too! :-)
