T-Shirt Dress...take 2

My friend is taking her daughter to go see the Fresh Beat Band...
the what?
okay maybe you are a lot more hip than me but I had never heard of them.
Maybe because we don't have cable, not because I am old!

She wanted her daughter to have a special outfit to wear that and asked for my help.
She sent my a picture of what she had in mind and left the rest up to me.

She supplied me with 2 shirts. (i forgot to take before pics so i grabbed a few online)

I used the tank top and the t-shirt as the base of the dress.

I also used scraps of fabric I had for the ruffles.

Now because my measuring stinks..
I first made the dress way to tight..I left no room for give.
I then re-cut the sides and added two pink panels of pink jersey i had.
Perfect amount of give now, but not looking too out of place.

I also used some left over scraps to make a ruffle flower, and embellished it with a blue button

I sure hope she like its...
I can not wait to see pictures of her at the concert!
