Friday Coffee Date...

Hi, How are you?
I am so glad you came for a drink today.
By drink i mean, coffee, Tea, water, pop/soda, or juice.

Friend If you were here with me I would first hug you.
Tell you look great, (you always do) ask if u did something new to your hair!

Let's pray before we begin our time here.
Lord, thank you, thank you for all you have done for us.
Thank you for sending your son to die on the cross so that we may have eternal life with you. Lord My heart aches for those that do not have a personal relationship with you, and for those who think they do but have not FULLY committed their lives to you. Father I ask that you open the hearts of these unbelievers, May they be open to hearing your message and feeling your love Lord. Father give us the words to speak to help guide them to a life everlasting. Lord as we sit here today, whether that be here in MI, or across the US, or even another country, that you bring us closer to you Lord. May our conversation be pleasing to you. In your Son's precious name, Amen.

Friend I can not remember if I shared with you about a book I was reading for church called
Through Gates of Splendor.

In 1956, five young men, including Elliot's husband, traveled into the jungles of Ecuador to establish communication with the fierce Waorani Tribe. In a nearby village, their wives waited to hear from them. The news they received---all five missionaries had been murdered---changed lives forever. A lasting story of God's grace and great courage. 269 pages, softcover from Tyndale.

Friend my eyes have been opened by this book. These men gave their lives to share the gospel. Would I do that? Is there fruit in my life? Am I willing to be uncomfortable and share Jesus with strangers?
These are all questions I have been asking myself since finishing this book. If you are looking for a great book to read I highly recommend this one.

Friend. If you had not noticed I am not drinking coffee today. I think I am having a Crohn's flare up right now. My joints are still hurting and my stomach has been a mess for 2 days. I ate ice cream and corn and that about killed me! not all at the same time geesh.
Today I am holding my coffee mg but really it's Vernors...

I have been stressing over tax stuff and I think that's what brought on my flare up.
Ugh ate this time of year. Finally got everything together and getting my taxes done today!
I eat when I am stressed. do you?

yup those are little debbies
Friend I forgot to put my purple extension in today...
I left it hanging in the bedroom...
is it weird to hang purple human hair on your bed side lamp?

oh well I just did...

Friend the wedding we participated in last week was amazing. I loved every minute of it.
I was super busy working but it turned out perfect.

here are a few sneak peaks from the big day.

and the church windows... beautiful...
This one was my favorite.
This is the first bible verse Lenny learned.
"...I will make you fishers of men" Matthew 4:19

well friend I have to run. Kids running around like wild animals.
If I feel better this afternoon I may run and grab a peppermint mocha frappuccino

but this time I will drink it and not leave it unattended. I was loading and unloading the car the day i got this one.  and when i came back inside Lenny was laughing saying " i drank all your coffee". At least I am a coffee wimp and only have the espresso put it in it.

prayer requests? please share I would love to pray for you.

Don't forget to visit my friends. They would love to have a refill with you.

  3. Good morning and thank you for noticing my hair- its called bedhead :)
My small group just finished a book called "Not a Fan" and I have been asking myself these questions too. What do I do in my life to show Gods love and to share The good news? Do I do anything? We have it pretty good here and do I take advantage of the freedom I have to speak to those around me? Do I listen to God when he asks me to talk to those around me. Maybe while in the grocery store or while Im in line for a coffee. What great love we have in Him, I should be telling the world - daily!
Thank you for this reminder sweet friend.
I hope you feel better soon! I will be praying for you!
    Enjoy your weekend

  4. Good AFTERNOON, I spent the morning lazing around the house like it was already Spring Break, because I'm trying to forget that in about an hour busy time starts again. HOWEVER, the real Spring Break is on the horizon and I fully intend on relaxing with my family and enjoying every bit of down time with them. XO

PS: PURPLE HAIR!!! LOVE! But I'd like it better on your head than your lamp. ;0)
