One Little Word Wednesday ...

This week I wanted to share with you how I am doing with my challenge...

For you those of you who are new  WORDS are my focus for 2012.



Why WORDS?
It’s something I struggle with in my life.
I struggle with what to say, how to say it, when to speak, speaking too much/too little, speaking God’s word when prompted.
I really want to apply this discipline of WORDS to all areas of my life.
What does that look like so far in my life?

My Family:
I am trying to yell less and think i am slowly accomplishing this. God works in amazing ways and for the last two weeks the sermons and my book studies have went hand in hand with this struggle. Lots of conviction here. I have also tried to affirm my kids more in the positive things they do along with showing grace when I can. 

For my friends:
I have been a lot more intentional in responded to text, emails, and calls. I have tried to be more specific and open about why i say or do something.

My Blog:
I feel that I am doing better about sharing my faith and heart with you. I recently had my blog critiqued and got some awesome feedback. I changed my layout and found out what you really wanted to see/hear about. thankfully many of you like hearing about my personal life, faith, and even my WIWW posts!

My spiritual Life:
I have been doing great in this area. I signed up for YouVersion {it's a online tool for daily devotions, bible reading schedule and more}I signed up for the read the Bible in 1 year plan. I am doing great so for. On day 23 and loving every minute. I find myself reading more than on the schedule for that day! I am also on my second verse in the {a to z challenge}. My family is also memorizing these verses with me which is great! I also recently joined a few other women in a Bible Study, we are reading through and discussing the book of Matthew. It's been great to see God work in all our lives through this.

I still have not decided how I am going to display my word for this year.
Now that my Silhouette Cameo has arrived I am sure I think of a fun way to display it.
