Hey friend {insert big smile and warm hug here}
I am so glad you wanted to have coffee with me today.
there is so much I want to tell you.
First I would share with you the super exciting news
okay super exciting to me, but maybe slightly rubbing it in your face to you.
I won a Silhouette Cameo..
at this point I would stand up in the coffee shop and strike a super star pose...
after composing myself
I would ask you to forgive me for that, I am still in shock!
I would also want to
Joshua 24:15b A - As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
I would also show you a picture of how i am displaying my current memory verse.
chalkboard fabric in an embroidery hoop, I wrote the verse with a chalk marker
I would tell you how awful I am doing about starting my day in the Word.
I would also tell you that I just signed up for a schedule to help me read through the bible in 1 year.
I would suggest you sign up too, it's not just for 1 year readings but for devotions and more.
I would also tell you i signed up 2 days ago and have failed to complete my readings..
I will not try to convince you that my excuse is my kids are sick, puking and such
that I have been spending all my time caring for them and tending to their every need
but reality is I streamed a lot of movies on netflix, and while the kids watched them
I blogged, pinned, facebooked, did laundry, organized their room, and decluttered my computer desk.
we would laugh together as I share i bribed people to vote for my pinterest challenge projects.
yup I am sly like that!
I would tell you I am struggling with balance
with my shop, blogging, spending time with God, my kids, husband, friends, and ministering to others.
I would tell you I feel all these things God wants me to be a part of but I am not sure in what capacity.
I would tell you that I am going to try and pray about ti more and let him answer that question!
I know I need to try and stop figuring it out with my own strength, because i need to let God lead my life.
I would tell how much I am still obsessing over pinterest!
we would both laugh at the insane number of pins, boards, and likes I have created!
4-2-2011 = 10 boards, 82 pins, 1 like |
1-12-2012 = 87 boards, 2781 pins, 288 likes |
It's a problem, but I would argue it's a good problem
right?!?
well friend, it's that time, I have to run
thanks for coming to have coffee with me today
{insert sad face and hug}
hope to see you next week.
***This post series idea was "taken" from my sweet friend Alissa who blogs over at Rags to Stitches

ReplyDelete2. The words chalkboard fabric and chalk marker may have just changed my life.
I would share that I use Youversion too and that I am behind on my reading plan... I would also share that I saw that you had won the Pinterest challenge - Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI totally addicted to Pinterest too. I've been pinning ideas for my son's "big boy" room I'm gonna start working on.
ReplyDeleteSo jealous that you won a Silhouette Cameo! I never win anything. I can't wait to see all the fun stuff you do with it. eek!!
Thanks for joining me for coffee.
