I am all about handmade, handmade with love, handmade with love and covered in prayer is even better!
and that's exactly what I received in the mail this week...

A few weeks back I shared with you I am participating in a journal swap.
I showed the sweet bookmark Alek's made for me.

A few days ago I received my journal..
I love it.. I love the size, the colors, the textures...and esp the girl who made it for me.

Friends meet Aimee... she has her own web design business byAimee.com and also blogs over at Fancy Little Things.

Aimee and I have become really close over the last few months. She has been such a great encourager and an ever present prayer warrior. I look forward to growing in my faith and walking along side her as we journey together!

I also had the chance to make a journal for someone.
I was lucky to paired with Lani over at It's my life and I love it.
After stalking her blog and pinterest boards I came up with a cute idea for her journal...
I picked up a hard cover journal that had red in the inside of the cover.
She liked the color red and sock monkey's
I covered the journal in gray and white polka dot fabric, added a sock monkey cutout, her name and her 1LW for 2012.
I mod podged over the entire thing to make sure it was nice and sturdy! 

This was such a fun idea. I loved being a part of it.
I may have to host one later this summer !
