If we sat down for coffee...

This idea was "taken" from my sweet friend Alissa who blogs over at Rags to Stitches

Source: google.com via Jordan on Pinterest

If we were sitting down to have coffee I would probably tell you
that I am stressing about the holidays.
I don't have my Christmas shopping done,
I am actually not even sure what I am getting my son.
I gave his only two ideas to family and I know they already purchased those items!
Let alone stockign ideas for all 3 kids
and the12 nieces, nephews, and cousins I still need to buy for!

I would tell you that I wish my house were a little bigger and that I wish I had a mantle.
I love decorating for Christmas but in such a  small house there is not mush room.
We only have a living room and kitchen (which is rally one large room), 3 bedrooms and a bathroom
That leaves not a lot of living space for 5 people and Christmas decor!

I would tell you Christmas is bitter sweet to me.
I love spending time with my family for the holidays, I like seeing my in-laws as well.
I just really wish i could spend one Christmas in California with my biological dad and his family.
I have not seem them in 8 years and feel like we are becoming strangers.
Someday, when money is not tight we will be able to afford to fly all 5 of us there.

I would also tell you that I am having so much fun with this blog.
I have "met" so many people.
I have been invited into some super cool "clubs".
One of my favorites being the Christian ladies group! It's an amzing group of blogging/business woman.
We encourage eachother, pray for eachother and give advice when needed!
It's a great place for me to be accountable, to make sure my blog is Glorifying to God!

A book page wreath/dome I made, inspired by pinterest

I would also talk about pins for like 2 hours.
I may refer to pins in all my conversations these days,
I still find myself shocked when someone does not know what I am referring to.
I would tell you about all my favorite pins, the ones that worked, the ones that tasted great and even the ones that were a complete craft fail.

I would tell you I am looking forward to going to an ugly sweater party tomorrow night.
I would share that I may not have my sweater yet, but it's my mission for today!
I would tell you I still do not know what punch i am bringing
or have the ingredients for the dish I signed up for.
None the less, i am looking forward to hanging out with a bunch of adult friends.

If we were having coffee today I would ask you if we could make this a regular thing.
So how about every friday we meet here.
You and me, feel free to bring a friend or two.
We'll sit and drink our coffee and share what's happening in our lives.
So will you join me?
Is there something you would like to me to share with next week? feel free to leave your quetions is the comment section and I will adress them all next friday!
Until then...

off to go add more creamer to my coffee, it's way to caramel colored for me!
