calendar frame and a fabric covered notebook...

I have been going stir crazy around here.
Sitting home all the time just increases the number of pins I make daily
which then makes my to-do list grow
which then makes me anxious to craft

*deep breath*

okay better now.

I have been trying to find little projects to don't require a lot of energy for me.

Here is what I came up with so far.

We needed a new calendar because ours "expired" in July.
Problem: I did not want to purchase a 2011 Calendar since the year is almost over...
Solution: Make a Calendar! I used 12x12 scrapbook paper, and drew on Calendar, gave the kiddos stickers and Viola. Now at first I just hung the Calendar on a string but knew it needed more of a home.

so what happens when you have an old frame and new Calendar?

A framed Calendar!

I am going away on an overnight retreat Friday and needed a journal.
Although I am sure I could use an old one.
I thought why not make a new one to match the ruffle tote from last week.

I did pick up a fake pumpkin at a consignment store. Not sure how to "embellish" it yet!
