saying lucky is an understatement.
I was blessed.
Although I truly enjoyed seeing their whole family
there was one person in particular I was antsy to see.
My dear friend Melissa.
We have been friends for quite a long time now.
I think about 9 years or so.
although we have had our fair share of ups and downs.
Melissa and I are friends for life!
Since we live so far apart
we don't get to talk often
but when we saw each other this week it was like we have been neighbors forever.
we just picked up where we left off.
Meet Melissa's sweet family...
Her Hubby D
Her son R
her daughter M
R and Frank are only a year apart, and M and Lenny are only 6 days apart.
We had so much fun visiting with them the last few days.
Lots of swimming, tubing, chatting, and hanging out.
I can not tell you how sad I am to see them go.
Things just started to feel normal again.
Hopefully we will see them next year.
