Today is the day...

I find my self singing the Lincoln Brewster song
Today is the day
Lyrics:

I putting my fears aside
I`m leaving my doubts behind
I`m giving my hopes and dreams to You
Jesus

I`m reaching my hand to Yours
Believing there`s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good

Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won`t worry about tomorrow
I`m trusting in what You say
Today is the day

Love that song...

Now today is also "the" day...
you know, Girls Night Out.
If I am going to be honest with you
I am feeling really insecure about this.

My Etsy shop does well, and I sell quite a lot to friends
but I have never had my items next to some other great crafter.
That is intimidating to say the least.

To help relax this morning
I decided to make the kids pancakes.
Not just any pancakes
Melt in your mouth, pancakes...

You’ll love these melt-in-your-mouth pancakes. Mmm, they’re so light and fluffy.
Prep Time 15 Minutes           Total Time 20 Minutes          Makes 14 pancakes

  • 2 cups Original Bisquick® mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat or electric griddle to 375°F; grease with cooking spray, vegetable oil or shortening. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)
Stir all ingredients until blended. Pour by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle.
Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden. To keep warm, place in single layer on cookie sheet. Cover with aluminum foil, and place in 200°F oven up to 10 minutes.

I used one of my frosting bags to make the kids fun shapes.
We had flowers, letters, shapes, snakes, and stars
I need a little something special just for me today.
A little pick me up...

SO introducing the Melt in your Mouth rosette Bib necklace...

 Enjoy your day everyone!

Can't wait to share with you tomorrow how things went.
Say an extra prayer for me! Please!
