I would like to invite you to take a journey with me this summer.
I have been invited to read and study the book One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp, by a woman's group at my church.
This book as been on my must read list for a while now
I am looking forward to starting it this weekend.
So the journey I am asking you to come on is best described by my friend Lisa
"This summer I feel the Lord saying to me, “You…Me…Keep Following.” One of the ways out of the valley of discontent is through gratitude and thanksgiving. My sister-in-law i recently sent me the book, One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. In the book, Ann explores about the biblical word Eucharisteo or thanksgiving and how what she learned changed her. Part of her journey was to list 1,000 gifts of grace in her life from the mundane to the extravagant. So, this summer I am going to take the journey of identifying 1,000 grace gifts, and I would love for you to join me.
If we give ourselves one extra day of summer (using the definition of summer as starting on Memorial Day to Labor Day regardless if the temperature ever gets above 80!), there are 100 days from Sunday, May 29 through Monday, September 5. So, for 100 days we can identify 10 grace gifts to reach 1,000 by the end of the summer."

I know it sounds overwhelming at first.
It's only 10 things a day, you can do, WE can do it.
We can cheer each other on and share our thoughts.
I am really looking forward to this challenge.
You do not have to have the book to participate but I do suggest you read it!

Being grateful is the only way to be! *smile* I keep a gratitude journal, which sounds similar to what you are asking in your challenge.
